Born in Arezzo, Italy, in 1988, she completed the graduation in veterinary medicine at the Faculty of Perugia (Perugia, Italy), in October 2012 with honour.
After a period of volunteer internship and participation in university projects at the same Faculty, she started her PhD in Health and Experimental Sciences Veterinary, curricula in “Veterinary clinical science”, succesfully fulfilled on May 2017. During this period she continued carrying out clinical activities such as management of routine and emergency surgeries, and surgical consultations.
From April 2017 until April 2020, she completed the ECVS residency in Small Animal Surgery at the Faculty of veterinary medicine of the University of Ghent (Ghent, Belgium).
Following the end of her residency training program, she worked as a part-time orthopedic surgeon at the same faculty until December 2020, and then as a self employed senior surgeon at Portoni Rossi Hospital (Bologna, Italy) while preparing for ECVS examination.
She is currently working as referral clinician in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery at chestegates veterinary specialists in Chester, UK.
