El Dr. Ruben Somoza se graduó en la Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias en la Universidad de Buenos Aires y continuó con un diploma en Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia de la Universidad Autónoma de México. Fue director médico de Emervet,Onlinevets y Theryogen: Centro de estudios en Reproducción, Neonatología y Pediatría.
Obtuvo su especialidad en Reproducción, Neonatología y Pediatría canina y luego trabajó en la misma área como responsable en la Universidad Nacional de Villa María Córdoba y en el Centro de Especialidades Médico Veterinarias.
