Dr. Sara LONGO

Sara Longo is an ECVN (European College of Veterinary Neurology) Board-eligible Neurologist at Dovecote Veterinary Hospital, in the UK.
After the graduation at the University of Sassari (in Italy), Sara moved to England in order to fulfill her professional career and to achieve her goal of becoming a European Specialist in Neurology.
After a few years of work as a 1 st opinion vet and two internships (a general one and a specialistic one in Neurology), Sara started a residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery in 2019, which was completed at the beginning of 2023.
Sara enjoys all aspects of Neurology, particularly neurological emergencies, intracranial disorders, neurosurgery and feline neurology. At Dovecote Veterinary Hospital, Sara has also the possibility to take part in the education of the Veterinary Students from the University of Nottingham.
