Biografia
Danach absolvierte er eine 3-jährige veterinärdermatologische Facharztausbildung (Residency) an der University of Georgia, USA. Ab 2004 wurde er als Dozent am College of Veterinary Medicine der University of Georgia berufen und 2010 zum Associate Professor ernannt, wo er bis 2014 in Lehre, klinischer Forschung und klinischer Dienstleistung tätig war.
Im Jahr 2014 entschied sich Dr. Hensel in die Schweiz zurückzukehren und eröffnet in seiner Heimatstadt Basel eine dermatologische Spezialpraxis.
