Dr. Benoit Cuq graduated from the National Veterinary School of Toulouse.

He then completed a specialised internship in Clinical Biology at the laboratory of the same school, followed by a rotating internship in companion animals in Montreal, and a second internship at the Ontario Veterinary College of the University of Guelph before completing a residency in Internal Medicine and a Ph.D. at the same institution.


Dr. Cuq obtained the American College Diploma in Internal Medicine (Dipl. ACVIM-SAIM) in July 2018. He teaches internal medicine at University College Dublin (IR).

Previously, Benoit worked as a clinician in the internal medicine departments of the Ontario Veterinary College and the University of Montreal as well as in private referral centres in Ontario, Quebec and England.

His interests include immune-mediated diseases and hematopathology, including bone marrow pathology; and pet uronephrology.
